A new video about the history, preservation, and restoration of the Old McHenry County Courthouse and Sheriff’s House was just completed. The video was written and directed by Woodstock resident Harold Rail of Afterglow Creative Services and is narrated by renown local storyteller and author Jim May. The video was financed in part by federal funds from the Department of the Interior and administered by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.
The video has been uploaded to YouTube and can viewed by clicking on the following link: http://youtu.be/XBkRhmVmFrs
This site is intended to provide visitors a portal where they can find out information on the Old McHenry County Courthouse and Sheriff’s House that was donated to the City of Woodstock in 2011.
