This site is intended to provide visitors a portal where they can find out information on the Old McHenry County Courthouse and Sheriff’s House that was donated to the City of Woodstock in 2011. Woodstock has committed up to two-million dollars to preserve the historic structures in an effort to avoid further deterioration.
Woodstock has established a not-for-profit 501c3 where donations to restore the Courthouse and Sheriff’s House can be accepted. If you’d like to donate to the restoration efforts, please contact Cort Carlson, Community and Economic Development Director, 815-338-4305, firstname.lastname@example.org
